Ada Zanditon is an innovative ethical fashion designer creating luxurious, high-end women’s ready to wear. Ada made her catwalk debut at London Fashion Week in September in Vauxhall Fashion Scout’s “Ones to Watch” show (featured on Vogue.com).
Ada interned with Alexander McQueen before going on to study at the London College of Fashion where she attained a 1st class BA (Hons) in womenswear, during which she interned with Jonathan Saunders. After graduating, Ada worked on various freelance projects including: the Centre for Sustainable Fashion’s first Shared Talent Project in South Africa and creating product for Oxfam’s first boutique. In early 2008 she set up her company after working for Gareth Pugh.
For her SS2010 collection Ada was awarded fabric sponsorship by CELC masters of linen, which was featured in Drapers and Drapers online. She has created the album and tour wardrobe for Patrick Wolf as well as commissions for Bishi, Robots in Disguise and Stephanie O’Brien (Puppini Sisters). Her clothes have also been worn by Dita Von Teese and Lois Winstone.
